EPUBMaker is a free online tool that converts DOCX (Word) and TXT files into standard EPUB ebooks. No account required, no software to install — just your browser.
This guide walks you through the entire process from file upload to finished EPUB download.

FAQ
DOCX or TXT — which is better?
DOCX is recommended whenever possible. Heading styles (Heading 1, 2, 3) in Word are preserved during conversion, so your table of contents is built automatically. TXT files are good for simple, unstructured text.
Can I read the EPUB on Kindle?
Kindle doesn't support EPUB natively. Send the EPUB to your Kindle using Amazon's Send to Kindle service — it automatically converts it to a Kindle-compatible format.
Are my settings saved?
Yes. Your last-used conversion options are automatically saved in your browser. They'll be there next time you visit.
Is there a conversion limit?
No. EPUBMaker is completely free with no conversion limits.
